Guests are drawn to this hotel by its reputation for outstanding food, discreetly attentive service, and the urbane comforts of a privately-owned, country-town hotel. With a total of 66 rooms including 51 en suite guest rooms and 3 luxury suites, the hotel features amenities such as a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a cloakroom and lift access. The main hotel has 51 bedrooms including three luxury suites. There are a further 15 bedrooms in the adjacent Elm House - once the home of the Antarctic explorer Francis Bickerton - now a stylish "boutique" in its own right, within the 3-acre grounds of the main hotel. The rooms in the main house are more traditional but in good decorative order whilst Elm House has stylish, contemporary rooms with Paroda furniture, luxury bath-rooms, flat-screen TV, broadband internet, glass dressing-tables and leather drawers.

The restaurant is a beautiful spacious conservatory arranged around a fountain patio garden. It is decorated in creams and white giving it a light and airy feel. There are bright, contemporary paintings on the wall and tall palm trees in between the tables. The restaurant serves the best modern English cuisine- light and fresh in summer, rich and robust in winter.

From the South take Junction 8 from the M40 onto the A40 for Oxford and follow the A40 as far as the Headington roundabout. Take the 1st exit, signposted towards Cowley. Follow the dual carriageway until reaching the Littlemore roundabout. Here turn right at the 3rd exit, signposted for Rosehill and Iffley, and follow the road down the hill. Round a corner to the left on reaching the traffic lights and take the 1st road on the left. Once in Iffley, go straight ahead at the mini roundabout onto Church Way. The hotel is on the left. From the North take Junction 9 from the M40 and follow A34 to Hinksey Hill Interchange signposted for Oxford and Cowley. Keep following the signs for Cowley until reaching the Littlemore roundabout, then turn left at the 1st exit signposted for Rosehill and Iffley. Follow the instructions above from here.
