The hotel was built in 1989 according to the design of Philippe Starck and consists of six floors with a total of 204 rooms, including suites and lofts with large windows. The design combines architectural features ranging from the modern to Baroque. The Rum Bar is located at the edge of the restaurant and has a bar area serving over a hundred types of Rum. It is a standing bar and has a series of custom-designed high lean-on tables.

The hotel has its own gym open 24 hours a day, located on the 1st floor.
