The four-star Cape Town Lodge Hotel is in the centre of the citys business district less than a mile from Cape Towns International Convention Centre and ideally positioned for the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Robben Island and the Kirstenbosch Gardens. The Green Point stadium, which will be hosting games in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, is one and a half miles from the hotel. 1 kms to city centre 20 kms to the nearest airport (cape town international airport) 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station (cape town) 3 km to the nearest station (cape town station) 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 1 km to the nearest fair site (green market)

The Cape Town Lodge has 119 spacious rooms and suites that are tastefully furnished and decorated in warm, welcoming colours. All rooms are equipped with modern facilities including air conditioning, wi-fi internet access, satellite television and in-room movies. The hotels 24 hour reception can help with recommendations for tours, restaurant and entertainment options and the hotel also has its own breakfast room, award winning restaurant, cocktail bar and cigar lounge. The inviting rooftop pool has great views and a bar where you can sit and enjoy a drink after a cooling dip in the pool. For those left with some energy after a day exploring the city, the Cape Town Lodge also has a well-equipped gymnasium.

Rooms
Each of the comfortable rooms comes with an en suite bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV and Internet access. Moreover, they all offer tea and coffee making facilities, a minibar/fridge, a king-size bed, carpeting, air conditioning, central heating and a hire safe as standard.

Restaurant & Food
There is a seperate breakfast room and restaurant. The restaurant is called Famous Butchers Grill and serves local and international dishes based strongly on meats. The breakfast room is situated on the fifth floor and has been totally modernized and has dark wood furnishings and blue carpeted floors matching the painted blue ceilings.

Activities & Sport
Leisure options include a swimming pool, sun loungers, parasols, a massage service and, for a fee, the opportunity to play squash or golf (9-hole and 18-hole courses available). Guests can also take advantage of the in-house gym.

Directions, How to get there
Drive along the N1/2 towards Cape Town CBD, continuing past the first traffic light (on the right-hand side there is the main entrance to the "V & A Waterfront" harbour area). Turn into Buitengracht Street. After around 1.5 km the hotel can be found on the left-hand side.
