The family hotel is abundant in entertainment, dining and shopping options. The great enclosure which is located on the premises is the site for various food outlets including Panarottis Pizzeria, Spur Steak House, The Burger Place and The Sweet Hut. Included in the great enclosure are a casino, pharmacy, reserve bank outlet and children's play area. The Makasa Casino is one of the most impressive casinos in Zimbabwe and currently the only casino in the Victoria Falls area. It is a large expansive room with many slot machines for guests to choose from. The hotel has a modern and elegantly decorated conferencing centre that comprises four rooms of various sizes. Built around a man made lake, the 294 rooms are beautifully decorated in deep browns and beiges. The establishment also features a lobby, currency exchange facilities, a hairdressing salon, a variety of bars, room and laundry services and a garage.

With natural wood furnishings these rooms are a warm haven. Whitewaters restaurant is the main hotel restaurant, a large open room with towering ceilings and domes surrounded by striking water features. With live traditional dancers and singers performing at each dinner, this is a truly authentic African experience guests will want to see. It has a maximum seating capacity of 250 persons. The hotel also offers Thundercloud Spur, a themed steak house, decorated in deep reds and golds and is a place to remember. Panarottis is an Italian trattoria style restaurant serving pizza, pasta and more.

The spa specialises in Clarins facial and beauty products and these products can be purchased by guests. All staff are qualified beauticians offering a range of treatments from massages and facials, to pedicures and manicures. Bungee jumping from the famous Victoria Falls Bridge, as well as the Flight of the Angels (an aerial look at the Victoria Falls), white-water (white knuckle as well) rafting and sundowner cruises on the Zambezi River can all be arranged by the hotel staff.
