Exterior: This is a Historic hotel, built in 1912 by local lumber baron Simon Benson. Glazed terra cotta and brick exterior, arched lobby windows and French mansard roof with dormers.
Lobby: The lobby is adorned with Circassian walnut paneling and pillars from imperial Russia, Austrian crystal chandeliers and Italian marble staircase. Complimentary cookies,tea each afternoon by the fireplace. Live jazz Tuesday to Saturday.
