An oasis from guests' hectic lifestyle, this hotel is an all-suite
hotel. Renovated in 2005, the hotel is air-conditioned and
comprises a total of 180 suites, which are spread over 3 floors.
Amongst the facilities are a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a
safe, a currency exchange counter and a lift in addition to a
souvenir shop, a bar, two restaurants serving local specialities,
and a conference room. It is possible to gain access to the
Internet and room service is on offer. A laundry service and
parking spaces are available on payment of an additional fee.
Rooms
The highly comfortable, Caribbean-style suites come with a separate
living and sleeping area, a double bed and an en suite bathroom
with a hairdryer. Each of the lodgings also comes with a direct
dial telephone, a radio, Internet access, satellite/cable TV, a
minibar and a hire safe as standard. The air conditioning and
heating are individually regulated. There is sleeping space for up
to 4 people.
Restaurant & Food
Breakfast is served every day; lunch and dinner may be selected
from a set menu. There is an island-style restaurant in the hotel
as well.
Activities & Sport
The hotel has a large spa centre with an indoor swimming pool as
well as a lagoon-style pool amidst the tropical foliage, an outdoor
pool and several hot tubs. Furthermore, various massage treatments
are on offer (charges apply). There is a very well equipped hotel
gym to make use of and sports enthusiasts may try out a variety of
sports for an additional fee. For the outdoor enthusiast, the
onsite concierge service can arrange a day of fishing, snorkeling,
windsurfing, biking, or kayaking. There is also a bicycle hire
service (fees payable).
Comments
A resort fee of around 7.50 USD per room per day is payable
locally. There is also a parking fee of about 11 USD per car.
Directions, How to get
there
From Miami and U.S. mainland: take US 1 Overseas Highway South to
Key West (150 miles south of mainland United States). At the
entrance to the island take the A1A (left). Follow the A1A for 2
miles. The hotel is located on the right.
