Privately owned, the hotel is first and foremost a family run hotel. Its aim is to provide an informal and relaxing atmosphere for guests. After a busy day's golf, business or sightseeing, they will really appreciate the peace and quiet of the hotel and enjoy unwinding in its cosy residents' lounge with a good book, and a brandy or a dram of malt whisky.

There are 22 en suite rooms, family rooms and suites to suit all requirements. Each room is tastefully and individually furnished and offers flat screen TV with digital channels, a hospitality tray and free WiFi access.

A full Scottish Breakfast in the lovely Garden Restaurant is offered daily. Although evening meals are not available at the hotel, it is within walking distance of many excellent restaurants in the town centre.

For golfers, reception will arrange to enter guests into the daily Old Course Ballot (subject to golf conditions).

Airport transfer as well as local sightseeing tours may be arranged (fees apply).

Glasgow and Edinburgh are the nearest airports. The local railway station is Leuchars. There is a bus station in St. Andrews. On entering Fife from Edinburgh or Glasgow, take the M90, then the A92 before heading along the A914 from whence St. Andrews is signed. On entering St. Andrews, pass straight over the first two roundabouts and continue for around 500 metres. The hotel is located on the right-hand side. If travelling from the railway station take either a taxi or bus to St. Andrews (15 minutes' drive).
