This charming establishment is one of Edinburgh's most stylish country house hotels. It dates back to 1843 and comprises 83 spacious bedrooms, which have all been carefully decorated to provide a restful escape with a host of modern touches and thoughtful extras. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, hotel safe and a cloakroom. Award-winning cuisine is the very essence of the hotel, and guests can choose between 'Ushers' - the fine dining restaurant - the informal brasserie, or even 24-hour room service.
