This attractive city hotel offers guests superb views over the famous Princes Street Gardens and Edinburgh Castle, lying opposite renowned Waverly Bridge about 5 minutes walk from the nearest railway station and 10 minutes from the bus station. Links to the public transport network are situated less than 20 m from the hotel and it is some 12 km to Edinburgh airport.

A very good location and a good standard hotel. Please be aware that the hotel does not accept single sex groups.
Exterior: This is a traditional building and is in keeping with the rest of Princes Street. There are large windows on the first floor and flags above the entrance.
Lobby: The lobby is located on the first floor, but there is a porter located on the ground floor, along with 2 lifts. There is a long receptions desk and a few seats and the restaurant leads on from the lobby.

Rooms
The pleasant rooms all come with an en suite bathroom with a shower and hairdryer in addition to a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV with a pay TV option, a radio, tea and coffee making facilities, a double bed, central heating, and a trouser press. The hotel only offers non-smoking rooms ti its guests.

Restaurant & Food
The Princes dinning room overlooks the famous Princes street and is located on the first floor. It is very big and bright and offers a la carte and carvery menus, and is popular with local shoppers who use it as a coffee stop. The tables are arranged in a very spacious way.

Directions, How to get there
Approaching the hotel from Edinburgh Waverley railway station, take the walkway up towards Waverley Bridge. Turn right onto Waverley Bridge, then walk up towards the Scott Monument on your left. Continue over the crossing towards the monument. The hotel is opposite you.
