Directions, How to get there
Guests arriving by road should leave the M1 motorway at junction 29 and follow the A617 dual carriageway to the outskirts of Chesterfield town centre. Take the 2nd exit from the roundabout at the end of this road and follow the signs first for the town centre and then for the railway station. The hotel is to be found on the right hand side opposite the access road to the railway station. There is ample free car parking opposite the main entrance. For the convenience of guests, directions can be faxed or emailed for this route and also for those arriving from the northwest via the A623/A619.

This hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the city centre and is perfectly situated at the gateway to the Peak District National Park, and within sight of the world famous 'Crooked Spire' church. It is ideally located for exploring the delightful Derbyshire towns of Matlock Bath, Buxton and Bakewell, not forgetting some of the greatest historical houses and stately homes such as the magnificent Chatsworth House (30 minutes by car). Newcastle is only a 10-minute drive away.
