The hotel has a beautiful, honey-stoned Georgian façade and is individually owned and personally managed. It is one of those rare hotels where guests can combine the best of both town and country living, being at the edge of the parklands of Corsham Court whose gardens were landscaped by Capability Brown. The historic building was built in 1756 and offers 24 delightful bedrooms. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with a 24-hour check-out service. The hotel provides a café, bar, restaurant and conference facilities. Guests may make use of the Internet access and 50 parking spaces are available.

Each room comes with its own individual character, some overlooking the apple trees in the walled garden. All have en suite bathrooms with a shower/bathtub and hairdryer. In-room amenities include an LCD television with satellite/cable, direct dial telephone, radio, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary wifi Internet access sponsored by Comms Consortium. The rooms additionally have an iron and ironing board and central heating units.

The Carvers Restaurant with Georgian architecture dating back to the fourteenth century was originally a nunnery. Now with its candlelit, stoned-walled charm, it offers a range of individually priced menus, as well as an à la carte menu to satisfy even the most discerning palate, with an extensive range of both simple and classical dishes using mainly locally produced meat and fresh vegetables. The table d'hôte menu is a popular family affair for both residents and local diners alike. The lounge and public bar offer a wide variety of bar meals along with an appetising range of home cooked daily specials.

By Car: From Bristol International Airport - Exit airport and follow signs for the M5 north. Join the motorway (M5) heading north and exit at junction 18 heading towards the M4 London. After joining the M4, proceed for approximately 20 miles and exit at junction 17 Chippenham. Follow the A350 towards Chippenham. Remain on the A350 until the roundabout and take the A4 towards Bath. At first set of traffic lights, turn left towards Corsham (Cross Keys Road). Remain on this road until the end and turn left. The hotel is situated 300 yards on right-hand side. The car park is at the rear of the hotel.
