BEST WESTERN Wroxton House Hotel has recently been lovingly and sympathetically refurbished and evidence of this can been seen on our website. The hotel reflects the typical character of Wroxton, with its Cotswold stone walls and thatched roof, affording the luxury of a tranquil and peaceful environment for the corporate and leisure traveler. There are two dedicated event rooms available, both with natural daylight and complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access. The largest room currently seating 50 theatre style is due to be extended at the end of 2010 ready for Spring 2011 and will seat up to 80 delegates. Ample complimentary car parking is also onsite. The hotel has an enviable reputation for excellent food and our award-winning Restaurant 1649 offers a distinctive, contemporary menu in relaxed surroundings. Lighter bites are also available from our lounge menu, in front of the log burning stove in winter or on the terrace in summer.

All of the bedrooms offer modern comforts and those located in the 17th century wing offer further charm and character with original features. The rooms feature en suite bathrooms with hairdryers. They also come with direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, radio, Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, central heating and a terrace. The rooms feature either double or king-sized beds. Some of the rooms in the modern extension have complimentary wi-fi Internet access.

Breakfast is either buffet style or served by the plate, while lunch and dinner can be chosen from the bar's snack or Table d'hote menus.

Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the Rye Hill course in the nearby town of Banbury.

The hotel is situated midway between Oxford and Stratford upon Avon on the A422 Stratford road, 3.2 km northwest of Banbury. From the M40, junction 11, follow the A422 signs for Banbury/Stratford upon Avon and Wroxton. The hotel is situated on a sharp bend on entering the village.
