The modern self-catering facility shares a site with the Days Hotel and Manchester Conference Centre. It has recently been refurbished and offers a high standard of accommodation. Guests using this accommodation have full use of the Days Hotel and Manchester Conference Centre facilities, which include a full service restaurant and bar available throughout the day. A full English buffet breakfast and continental breakfast is available. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. Further facilities on offer to guests include a luggage room, computer lounge area, lift access and laundry facilities. There is a chargeable car park adjacent to the halls on Charles Street. The property comprises 400 rooms.

All rooms are singles equipped with an en suite bathroom with shower, tea/coffee making facilities, bedding, towels, a work desk area and a lamp. They have well-equipped kitchens with a fridge, cooker and microwave, as well as communal lounges located throughout the building. A washing machine, ironing set and individually regulated heating also feature as standard. The kitchen facilities are only available for group bookings and are on request only.

The restaurant offers full breakfast and lunch menus, in addition to à la carte evening meals, with dishes to suit everyone's budget and taste. Tea, coffee and snacks are served throughout the day.

By car: From the M62 leave at exit 12 and join the M602 Salford/Manchester. At the end of the motorway follow Manchester (Regent Road) for approximately 1.5 km. Proceed under the railway bridge continuing on the A57M (Mancunian Way). Take the 2nd exit signposted A34 for the University of Manchester and immediately fork right. The hotel is located on the left-hand side.
