Exterior: This is a brand new 10 storey purpose built ultra modern
hotel. It has an attractive angular design to the front and windows
that are made from multi-colored glass that appear to change color
as the light alters throughout the day. The stunning exterior has
been achieved through the collaboration of the design team and
Manchester City Council who were both keen to create a building
that is influenced by the best of the old and new buildings of this
area of Manchester.
Lobby: The lobby - in keeping with everything at the hotel - is
visually stunning, large and open plan with mezzanine/viewing areas
from the first floor. It combines the best of boutique elegance
with the grandeur of a prestigious city centre proprty.
Rooms
The contemporary bedrooms have 1 or 2 double beds as well as an en
suite bathroom with a shower, bathtub, hairdryer and a bathrobe.
Free Internet access and individually regulated air conditioning
and heating are standard features in all accommodation. Other
in-room amenities include a laptop safe, minibar (chargeable), an
iron and ironing board, Sky TV (including Sky Sports), pay-for-view
movies and free mineral water. Triple and quad rooms consist of two
double beds.
Restaurant & Food
The Glasshouse is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the
evening. The impressive design of the Glasshouse Restaurant blends
magnificent space, angular lines, mirrors and coloured glass with
intimate rounded leather booths. A breakfast buffet is served each
morning. À la carte options are available for lunch and
dinner and guests may also select their dinner from a set menu.
