This elegantly designed country hotel is housed in an ageless Yorkshire stone building dating back to 1862 and originally formed part of the Outlane Golf Club. It is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and the interiors capture the atmosphere of decades gone by. It comprises a total of 52 en suite rooms, spread over 3 floors. Facilities on offer to guests include a 24-hour reception, a bar, a restaurant and parking. Guests may also take advantage of the laundry service for an additional fee.

All rooms include a TV, a direct dial telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, a clothes press and a hairdryer. They come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub, as well as a radio.

The hotel restaurant has an excellent reputation for its food and service. Guests are served breakfast each morning, with the option of a continental breakfast and the midday and evening meals may be enjoyed from a set menu.

Guests arriving by car should exit M62 at Junction 23 (eastbound only), or J24 and follow the A640 towards Rochdale. The hotel is on the A640 (New Hey Road) at Outlane.
