This is an excellent hotel, kept in immaculate condition, having
open its doors in 2006 only. Elegant conference rooms, gymnasium,
Al Fresco terrace in summer, 24h concierge and exclusive private
gardens make this property a very exclusive one, of excellent
standards, in the heart of London but in very quite, peaceful
location.
Exterior: The hotel is made up of several beautiful Georgian town
houses. The period, white stucco facade, and the entrance flanked
by columns makes this hotel building a very attractive one.
Lobby: The lobby is surprisingly big for this type of property made
up of town houses. It's very bright and contemporary. There is a
wooden reception desk to the right of the entrance, set at a 90
degree angle, making check-in and check-out very private. The
concierge desk is located immediately to the right of the
entrance. There is some additional seating with settees, sofas and
cleverly positioned mirrors, adjacent to reception.
Rooms
All the bedrooms are medium to large on average and very
contemporary in style. Cream and pastel colours have been used to
decorate walls and floors, and brown, warm colours for fabrics and
bed spreads. Dark wooden furniture, Bose hi-fi system and 26" flat
LCD tv complement the decor and the modern, contemporary style. All
the rooms are fully air conditioned and in excellent condition as
are the bathrooms.
Restaurant & Food
The hotel's restaurant, Lessandro, serves gourmet Italian cuisine
in an intimate, modern setting, including the available private
dinning at The Ruby and The Mirror rooms. The hotel's own bar, the
Ruby's Cocktail and Piano Bar, is also very contemporary and
sophisticated.
Activities & Sport
Sports enthusiasts may enjoy a workout in the gym.
