This air-conditioned establishment was recently opened (in spring 2009) and is quickly becoming known as one of the hippest hotels in London. It has a unique outlook on what a hotel should be and has 79 rooms on offer. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. The hotel's designer bedrooms include 60 deluxe rooms with luxury double beds, work space, Apple TV's with satellite/cable TV that integrate with guests' lap top or iPod, and an en suite wet-room with Grohe drench shower. Alfie's Kitchen is a 90-seat restaurant and bar, with a wine-shop and delicatessen attached. The terrace garden offers al fresco seating for another 120 people.
