This inviting hotel lies in the heart of Istanbul, with countless shops, restaurants, bars, pubs and discos all around 100 m away. The Blue Mosque is also around 100 m from the hotel, whereas the Hagia Sophia and the Archaeological Museum are around 200 m away. It is some 600 m to the Bazaar and 400 m to the Topkapi Palace. In addition, Atatürk airport is some 18 km away and is reached within 25 minutes.

Sumengen Hotel has newly renovated in 2008. This hotel offers a total of 25 rooms spread over 6 floors. The air-conditioned hotel offers guests a 24-hour reception desk, 15 hotel safes, lift access and a currency exchange counter, as well as a café, a fully air-conditioned restaurant and a bar. The hotel's public Internet access may be used by guests and laundry, room and medical assistance services are also available for an additional fee. The hotel has its own parking for guests arriving by car.

Rooms
The whole room design and decoration and the room plans have completely renewed and changed. The new rooms are much larger and all rooms will have either sea view, street view or garden view. The rooms have bathroom with hairdryer and are equipped with a direct dial telephone (added fee), Internet access, satellite/ cable TV, central heating, a minibar (added fee) and individual air conditioning.

The hotel offers bed and breakfast stays. Guests may serve themselves from a breakfast buffet every morning.

Directions, How to get there
From Atatürk airport guests may travel the 18 km to the hotel by taxi. Guests with light luggage may take the underground from the airport to the end of the line Aksaray and then take the tram from Yusufpasa to Sultanahmet. From here it is only 200 m to the hotel. Guests arriving from Sirkeci train station or Galata port, should take a taxi or a tram to the Sultanahmet stop.
