Built in 2007, the hotel is the newest stylish boutique beach
resort, nestled amongst the palm trees on the white sands of Cha-am
beach and neatly designed with stepping stone aquatic gardens.
Offering peace and quiet upon arrival, the airy lobby welcomes
guests with a large fountain proudly standing in the centre. Mosaic
ceiling lanterns and an earth-tone style décor enhance
the sense of tranquillity for arriving guests. The air-conditioned
hotel offers guests 38 rooms in total and a wide range of
facilities including a 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency
exchange facilities, a hairdressing salon, bar and restaurant.
Guests may also make use of the conference facilities, WLAN
Internet access, and room and laundry services. Guests arriving by
car can use the hotel's car park (fees apply).
Rooms
The hotel's spacious guest rooms generate a sense of relaxation
with luxuriously appointed bathrooms with bathtub and shower,
bedrooms with double or king-size bed and some have a separate
living room. Locally grown golden bamboo adds texture to the wooden
furniture whilst the circular patterns on the walls portray the
aquatic theme of the resort. In-room amenities include a direct
dial telephone, satellite TV, a radio, Internet access, a
hairdryer, safe, minibar/fridge, tea and coffee making facilities
and air conditioning. Guests may also spend time relaxing on their
private balcony or terrace.
Restaurant & Food
With its aquatic theme, the signature Medi Restaurant serves daily
international specials, barbecue food and homemade pizza, while
offering guests a fantastic beachfront view. For early risers, the
breakfast lounge on the second floor is the place to meet, chat and
relax whilst enjoying an extensive breakfast buffet from around the
world. The Mantra lobby lounge serves daily freshly baked cakes and
pastries. A full bar service is also available. Just outside the
Badala Spa, a private pavilion is the perfect evening place for a
private dinner for two. À la carte options are
available for dinner.
Activities & Sport
For sporty guests, the hotel offers a unique rooftop jogging track
with a couple of mountain bikes and few wooden exercise stations, a
micro fitness club plus a beauty salon in house. Spa lovers can
experience the Badala Spa, which offers new innovations in spa and
massage treatments whilst using the best natural lotions and
ensuring all senses are given tender love and care. The hotel has 3
outdoor swimming pools, including a saltwater pool and children's
swimming area (fees apply to all), and guests may relax by the
poolside snack bar or on the sun terrace. For an additional fee,
guests may take part in an aerobics or aqua fit session, or play
badminton or beach volleyball. Motor boating, banana boating, table
tennis, darts, horse riding and biking round off the sport and
leisure activities available to guests. There are also 5
championship quality golf courses within a 30-minute drive of the
hotel. An entertainment programme for children is also organised by
the hotel (fees apply). The nearby beach is sandy.
Directions, How to get
there
From Bangkok, take the Phetkasem Road heading towards Cha-am, Hua
Hin. Upon reaching Cha Am turn left at the Cha-Am intersection onto
Narathip road, continue until meeting the T-intersection and turn
left for 1.5 km and the hotel will be on the left.
