The Holistic Six Senses Spa provides a truly relaxing and
revitalizing experience, offering therapeutic menus to rejuvenate
and revitalize the senses. Skilled therapists create sensory
journeys for guests, with a range of holistic wellness and
pampering treatments. The spa focuses into the lush tropical
forested hillside and is styled after an Asian long-house. In
addition, there are several separate treatment salas and a gym.
Exterior: Accommodations provide generous personal space and
present an uncompromised standard of luxury. The Resort offer
elegantly designed modern architecture positioned with an image
supporting the Six Senses Hideawaytheme , Redefining Experiences.
All villas have open-style bathrooms, creating an atmosphere of
space and light within and boast magnificent views of the bay and
surrounding forestation. Each villa also features its own
infinity-edged pool with sundeck, creating an illusion of infinity
between pool and bay, and reinforcing afeeling of seclusion. Local
building techniques have been adopted, using natural materials that
are in harmony with environment. External and interior walls are
woodpaneled, with roofs constructed of sago palm leaf thatching.
Each villa is attended by a butler who is trained to anticipate
every whim.
Lobby: The lobby is not big enough for a group of approx. 25 pax
(with their luggage) to check in (standing in the lobby).
Rooms
The Pool Villas come with a separate bedroom, a bathroom with an
outside shower and a sitting room as well as a terrace area with
sun loungers and an outside dining area. They feature an infinity
edge pool. The Deluxe Pool Villas comprise a split-level unit, with
the entrance on the top level. This leads onto a decked area and a
sitting room, stairs then lead down to a separate bedroom, a
walk-through dressing room and a bathroom with an outside shower, a
terrace area with sun loungers as well as an outside dining area
and an infinity edge pool. The Pool Villa Suite comprises a
split-level unit with the entrance on the top level. This leads
onto a decked area and a bedroom with an open bathroom and shower.
Stairs then lead down to a separate air-conditioned sitting room
with an open garden and shower room. Furthermore, facilities on
offer as standard in all accommodation include a hairdryer, direct
dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a hifi system, Internet access,
a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, a king-size bed,
individually adjustable air conditioning and a safe.
Restaurant & Food
A central split-level structure features a Chef's Table on the top
level, plus a cooking station with one long table surrounding it.
The main dining area is on the lower level, with several private
dining pavilions located in the wild mangroves and plantation
palms. A tranquil water feature meanders through this area , over a
glass bottom floor , while organic vegetable and herb gardens are
close at hand for the freshest salads and to complement the
exquisite Italian Cuisine in the Dining Room In-Villa Dining
Private in-villa or terrace dining compliments the secluded
peaceful atmosphere. For the true romantic, the villa butler will
arrange for a champagne breakfast, a private picnic or an evening
barbecue beneath the stars, witha personal chef and waiter at the
ready.
Activities & Sport
The complex features the Six Senses Spa with sauna, steam bath,
massage and spa treatments as well as exclusive tours and
excursions with resort speedboats. Guests may also enjoy an iPod
and music library, a movie library, Thai cooking classes,
wine-tasting and diving. Moreover, there are sun loungers and
parasols available for guests' comfort and visitors may have a go
at water skiing and - for an additional fee - windsurfing, sailing,
catamaran sailing, canoeing, tennis and beach volleyball. Sports
enthusiasts may enjoy a work-out in the gym (charges apply).
