The hotel is owned and managed by the Jordà-Vidal-Giró family and is consequently a family hotel offering personal service, which was founded in 1965 by Salvador Vidal i Ayter. The hotel offers 40 spacious rooms including standard, superior and a suite, which are all fully equipped. The air-conditioned hotel also provides a cafeteria service, lounge and a restaurant with contemporary Empordà cooking where the produce, methods and traditions of Alt Empordà are joined together to create a new type of restaurant. In this way, the restaurant strives to rediscover high quality cuisine, through a new kind of cooking, an extensive wine cellar and a warm, welcoming space. The hotel also features a lobby, WLAN Internet access, room service, a car park and the possibility for guests to hire bikes and explore the surrounding region.

All the rooms are en suite and are fitted with a bathtub, shower and hairdryer. Other in-room amenities include WLAN Internet access, satellite/cable TV, a direct dial telephone, desk, central heating and either a terrace or balcony.

The hotel cuisine is a culmination of the native seasonal produce, the preparation techniques and the tradition of Alt Empordà. A buffet is served at breakfast, lunch is available as a set menu or á la carte and dinner can be enjoyed á la carte.

Guests wishing to play a round of golf will find the nearest course at Castello d'Empuries, which is roughly 1 km from the hotel.

In the double standard room with shower, it is not possible to include an extra bed. The double room may be used for single occupancy on request. There are no baby cots.

Take motorway AP-7 toward Girona and leave the motorway at exit 4 FIGUERES. Continue on the road C-260 in the direction of Roses and after 11 km guests will arrive at Castelló d'Empúries.
