This is a really good well run 4* hotel with first class facilities including 24 hour reception service, concierge facilities, 18 hour room service, babysitting facilities, fully equipped business centre, laundry, shoe shining, ironing and valet services, off street parking as well as satellite TV and Internet access. A great place to stay if you want to be close to the sea and Cape Town's best beaches.
Exterior: A modern building that has recently been renovated. It is eight storeys tall.
Lobby: The lobby combines a pleasant mixture of modern and classic style with white tiled flooring and dark wood antique furniture. The entrance to the hotel is bright with large art deco lights hanging from the ceiling, a leather sofa and black and white framed pictures on the walls, creating a welcoming and stylish first impression of the hotel. The reception is on the left as you enter the hotel.

These are very slick rooms with dark wood furniture and soft lighting creating a warm feel to the rooms. All rooms have en suite bathrooms and are equipped with individually controlled air-conditioning, telephone, safe, satellite TV, access to fax, hair dryer, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Guests can enjoy a sundowner in the Promenade Bar or on the open air deck whilst watching the sun set over the Atlantic Ocean. The large restaurant is welcoming with stylish and very comfortable whicker chairs in front of the bar and dark wood chairs in the main restaurant area with beautifully laid tables. There is art work on the walls and plenty of natural light from the glass walls next to the restaurant bar. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served here and there is a good choice of local and international food as well as an excellent wine menu.

Guests can relax on the sun terrace next to the outdoor swimming pool.

When coming along the N1 or N2 into Cape Town City Centre, go towards V&A Waterfront. Pass Western Grand on the left and the Waterfront turnoff on the right. Continue straight to the next set of traffic lights. Turn right going to Sea Point. Continue straight until the roundabout. Go straight past the Green Point Stadium. Continue onto Beach Road passing SABC Studios in Sea Point on the left-hand side. Winchester Mansions are on the left-hand side. Continue on Beach Road for approximately 1 km until the second set of traffic lights at the junction with Marais Road. Since Marais Road is a one-way street, continue straight until the next junction and turn left there into Oliver Road. 100 m further on is Graham Road, turn left and left again into Marais Road. The hotel is 80 m down the road on the right-hand side.
