In the Marlborough sounds at the top end of the South island of New Zealand. The resort is only accessible by boat or Air. The nearest place to take water taxi from is the Picton harbour. Duration of water taxi is approx 30 minutes. A helicopter transfer is also available at Picton and duration is approximately 10 minutes. 10 kms to city centre 44 kms to the airport (blenheim) 336 kms to the airport (christchurch) 18 km to the nearest station (picton) 50 minute walk to the nearest bus stop Close to the beach

A very beautiful location and resort. On site there is a swimming pool and hot tub, spa-massage service, baby sitting service, shop and laundry. There is no disabled access.An excellent place to get away from the crowds and enjoy the best of New Zealand scenery. Fishing, walking, swimming and other water based activities are all right at the doorstep.
Exterior: The resort is a collection of buildings set into the hillside and facing one of the Marlborough sounds. There are no elevators at the resort as each room/apartment is a single storey. A modern resort built in 2003.
Lobby: A small functional lobby area for check-in.

Rooms
There is a number of room configurations at the resort. this listing is for one bedroom apartments. Each apartment faces the sea as they are built in terrace style in the hillside. They are available as a King bed or two king single beds. The bathrooms are all shower only, no bathtub's. In each unit there is lounge and balcony area, Sky TV, Radio, direct dial phones and hair dryers. Room service is limited to 08:00-22:00. The views from all rooms are spectacular.

Restaurant & Food
The café offers a casual deli-style dining experience in surroundings that will mesmerise diners. In the restaurant guests can enjoy sumptuous New Zealand cuisine while appreciating the elevated views of the bay and surrounding Marlborough Sounds.

Activities & Sport
Guests can try out sailing, hiking and kayaking or can just enjoy relaxing in the hot tub or by the swimming pool. The spa offers a range of massage and beauty treatments that combine traditional massage techniques with Maori myth and legend to create a truly special experience.
