Located on Fort street, in the centre of the city. Two city blocks from the waterfront area of the city and a 2 minute walk to Queen street. 30 kms to the nearest airport (auckland) Close to the station (britomart) 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 1 km to the nearest fair site (skycity convention centre) 8 km to the nearest beach

This is a great Backpackers in a very central location. Luggage storage facilities, personal safes, laundry with dryers and 24 hour reception. There is always plenty going on here and makes an ideal base for those at the start of their trip around New Zealand or those exploring Auckland.
Exterior: A modern six storey building.
Lobby: A small reception area with knowledgeable staff available to help plan and book activities and offer itinerary suggestions.

Rooms
These are the best rooms in the building, private double rooms with ensuite. There are fully equipped communal kitchens within the building. At peak times they can get busy. TV in every room.

Restaurant & Food
Next door is the Fat camel bar and cafe with plenty of activities such as quiz nights and also some meal options. This is a great place to meet other travellers and make friends, swap handy hints, or stories of travels.

There is a sauna and spa pool, and guests will enjoy the roof-top spa.
