The hotel comprises a total of 513 rooms and offers guests access
to its lovely gardens. Facilities include a foyer with a reception
desk, a safe and a cloakroom in addition to Cheers Sport
Café, the Ef-Café, Bar Artista, the AFC Bar and 2
restaurants - the Dali & Gaudí and the Sabor. Offering
space for up to 950 persons, the restaurants are ideal for enjoying
some Mediterranean-style dining, with not only the best Dutch
dishes are on offer, but also an array of typically Mediterranean
specialities. Further hotel amenities include 117 conference rooms
for up to 2,000 persons, as well as WLAN Internet access. Whether
hosting a national or international conference, product
presentation or kick-off meeting, business guests will find
everything here they could need for company meets. Through the
combined usage of the rotunda and atrium, large conferences or
trade fairs may be catered to. There is space for 500 persons in
the rotunda (in a theatre-style layout), which may be linked to the
atrium to provide a total surface area of some 1,100 m². Rooms
for meetings taking place simultaneously are located nearby and the
auditorium is an intimate room with a capacity of 150-250 persons.
Numerous smaller rooms are also available at the hotel and
presentation features are available in all meeting rooms. The hotel
can cater for business meets, work parties, receptions or sporting
events; rooms may be decorated according to guests' individual
requirements. The hotel has already played host to the Amsterdam
Street Festival, Fantastic Pomp, Arabian Nights, Caribbean themed
parties, award ceremonies, entertainment events and buffets. Room
and laundry services are available and there is also a bicycle hire
service, a shoe-shine service, a babysitting service, a snack
machine, facilities for the disabled, a playground for younger
guests and a complimentary car park for those arriving by car.
Rooms
All rooms are medium to large in size and in good condition. Decor
varies depending on when the rooms were renovated, with some rooms
offering a red and gold colour scheme in the bedspreads and
curtains and carpeted floors, while other rooms offer light wood
furnishings and floor and a decor of reds, oranges and greens and
other rooms offer a darker wood finish with striped curtains and/
or a red colour scheme. The bathrooms are in good condition and are
grey and pink, all with separate bath and shower.
Restaurant & Food
Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet; breakfast
may alternatively be taken in one's room or it is possible to enjoy
the early-riser breakfast. Guests may dine in the Dali restaurant,
located next to the Amsterdam beach and surrounded by Holland's
famous tulip fields, where top wines from around the world are on
offer. The chef recommends a starter of grilled Dublin Bay prawns,
veal carpaccio or saffron broth with fish. The tournedos with
mushrooms, oysters and basil sauce are a top main course option.
Those who prefer fish should sample the sole filets with lemon and
lobster sauce, one of the hotel's best fish dishes. Enjoy a dessert
of nougat parfait with mocha sauce, pineapple with coconut ice
cream or blue stilton.

Leisure options include a sun terrace, an indoor pool, a Jacuzzi, a
sauna and an in-house gym.
