The hotel is located at the back of the Borj Nord, a gate serving as one of the main entrances to Fez medina. Equally close to hotel are the illustrious Qaraouiyin Mosque, the Bouanania Medersa, the Nejjarine Wood Museum, the tanners' district and the Tijani sanctuary. There are numerous restaurants and shopping opportunities within walking distance of the hotel, whilst there are links to the public transport network just outside. Sais Airport is about 15 km away.

The hotel is an authentic Arabian Andalusian palace, built in 1800 and recently refurbished. There are a total of only 11 rooms in the historical guesthouse. Guests are welcomed in a hotel with 24-hour reception and check-out services. Facilities include air conditioning, currency exchange facilities, a TV lounge and conference facilities.
