The hotel is located on the far end of the Medina, in the Sandillon district, named after the builder of the first windmill in Essaouira. It is next to the Squalla and the ramparts of Essaouira and is the only riad in front of the ocean in Morocco. Access to public transport is around 300 m from the hotel and the beach is about 30 m away.

Built in 2008, the hotel is entirely renovated with all the details to provide guests with comfort. In this haven of peace, the cordial 24-hour reception and check-out service in the lobby will constantly give the feeling of being at home. The professional staff are at guests' disposal to ensure an excellent service. Very accessible, the hotel respects the most demanding reception standards, including lift access, wide corridors and large openings to offer better mobility for everyone. The hotel offers a total of 45 guest rooms, as well as a hotel safe, TV lounge, café and restaurant. Each room is decorated with traditional and modern inspirations, displaying the treasures of Moroccan craftsmanship. Double or king-size beds are available, as are rooms with a balcony or terrace.

The restaurant, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, is cosy and has a nice view onto the beach.
