The hotel overlooks the Caribbean Sea in the quiet village of
Oracabessa Bay on Jamaica's north coast.Built by the novelist Ian
Fleming as his Jamaican retreat. Though built in 1949, the hotel
reopened in 2010 following a two-year expansion. The hotel now
encompasses Fleming's original villa plus 11 Cottages and six

The All rooms include hotel's signature claw foot bathtubs and
outside garden showers, Flat screen televisions with over 200
international channels, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the
property, logitech Squeezebox sound-system, stocked with a
catalogue of Island Records-produced music, and can download any of
the guests favourite radio stations. The latest Panasonic Inverter
air conditioning technology, which utilizes 40% less energy. All
villas, cottages and suites are outfitted with custom-designed
furniture, bath and beauty products made using local-grown
botanicals, and Royal Hut's fine handmade linens.
Restaurant & Food
The Gazebo restaurant, built in the aerie, tree-house-style, serves
up local fare with an international flavor and overlooks both Low
Cay Beach and The Lagoon.Perched on the western arm of Low Cay
Beach and steps away from the sea and fresh-water swimming pool is
hotels's beach casual restaurant, the Bizot Bar.

The FieldSpa at the hotel offers a range of relaxing and uplifting
beauty and body therapies, using locally farmed and wild-grown
herbs and flowers (guests can even kayak or swim through the lagoon
