The resort lies nestled amidst around 160 hectares of gardens,
flowers and wetland reserve, beside an almost 2 km long stretch of
private sandy beach. Offering superb services and a decidedly
different take on luxury accommodation, guests will always find
something to do here. The luxury establishment is always the first
choice of celebrities, dignitaries and royalty. All guests to the
hotel are treated equally however, with one exception: children,
for whom there is a children's centre, a games room with supervised
activities and babysitting. The business centre provides business
visitors with high-speed access to the Internet (for an additional
fee). A total of 398 rooms are available and standard facilities
include a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a hire safe and a
currency exchange desk. There is a selection of shops to browse and
a hairdressing salon; fees apply for use of the laundry service and
those arriving by car are offered car parking. Dining options
include 6 different restaurants and bars: the Seagrape Terrace with
delicious Jamaican cuisine is complimented by island and dance
music. Just off the hotel's golf course is the Sugar Mill, which is
open for dinner only and features specialties such as
chicken-pineapple stew with turmeric-passion fruit sauce. La
Baguette, serving grilled specialties, opens out onto one of the
pools.
Rooms
All of the guestrooms and suites are non-smoking and feature Queen
Anne-style furnishings. Each comes with a full en suite bathroom
with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, cable TV, a radio, air
conditioning, a hire safe and a king-sized/ double bed.
Furthermore, a minibar, complimentary newspapers and a balcony are
available in each.
Restaurant & Food
All meals are available in a buffet form; lunch and the evening
meal may alternatively be taken à la carte or chosen
from a menu. Specific dietary requirements may be catered to. It is
possible to book a half-board, full-board, all-inclusive or bed and
breakfast only stay.
Activities & Sport
This resort offers an array of leisure options: it is possible to
swim with the dolphins, to explore the natural surrounds by horse
back, to play golf (for an additional fee) or tennis or to go
swimming to one's heart's content in the sea or in one of the two
swimming pools in the outdoor complex. A sun terrace with sun
loungers and parasols surrounds the pools. Within the hotel is a
gym to make use of, as well as a range of spa offerings including a
massage service (charges apply), a Jacuzzi, a sauna, and yoga and
pilates sessions. The Jamaican Bush Bath is one of the most popular
treatments at the spa. Various other sports are available including
water skiing, diving, canoeing, pedalo boating, table tennis,
squash, aerobics, cycling, basketball, beach volleyball, billiards
and badminton There is an entertainment programme to provide some
variation.
