This hotel is located at the heart of the historical centre of Assisi (Unesco town) 300 m from the Saint Francis Basilica and 500 m from Saint Claire Basilica. Links to the public transport network can easily be reached on foot lying just 300 m away and the nearest airport is to be found in Sant' Egidio in Perugia, the railway is 3 km away connected by public bus.

An enchanting family run hotel, definitely higher in standard than the typical superior turist class. The position is ideal for touring the small city. There are a few parking spaces in front of the hotel.
Exterior: Traditional building in keep with surroundings.
Lobby: The lobby is small area on the left side from the entrance. On the right side there is a Bar area sometimes used for breakfast (low season only). Once being a private house, the hotel has a charming lounge area with fireplace and original paintings, comfortable sofas and an intimate atmosphere.

Rooms
Rooms are all in excellent condition. Equipped to high standards, they are medium in size and have wooden furniture and classic textiles. Bathrooms are in a good condition throughout, most rooms with bathtub. Half rooms offer enchanting panoramas on the typical Umbrian valley.

Restaurant & Food
The restaurant is the pride of this hotel. Situated on the lower floor and benefitting from a beautiful large terrace overviewing the valley, the restaurant is known in the whole of the region for its specialities, typical dishes and products of the area and an extraordinary wine list. Not to be missed!

Directions, How to get there
By car: take the Valdichiana exit from Highway-A1 if driving southbound and the Orte exit if driving northbound, then follow the signs for Assisi. By train: exit the train at the railway-station of Santa Maria degli Angeli, which is connected with a bus service to Assisi station in the line Orte-Terontola.
