Villa Aurea is at 3 Km from Cortona, set in its own private park, with views over the Chiana valley, leading to lake Trasimeno. 2 kms to city centre 110 kms to the airport (peretola) 185 kms to the airport (pisa galileo galilei) 3 km to the nearest station (camucia - cortona)

Villa Aurea is very comfortable, elegant and characterful hotel, where the modern minimalistic design has been succesfully mixed with some typical tuscan elements (ie exposed beams and terracotta ceilings and floors). The Villa is set in its own park, has an open air swimming pool (as from June 2005) with jacuzzi thalassotherapy, solarium, tennis court, botanical garden, antistress walk paths, little ponds and a natural cave. The villa also benefits of a large parking area.
Exterior: The complex consists of 3 independent units: Villa Aurea which dates back to the 1700's and its 2 annexes (Il Villino and Il Casale). All units are furnished with the same elegant style.
Lobby: Small lobby that opens into an elegant sitting area. The lobby is also essential and minimalist in design.

Rooms
All spacious with minimalistic design and a monocromatic theme, unique to each room. The overall effect is extremely relaxing and elegant.
