The hotel is situated just three minutes from the town centre and is surrounded by 6 acres of beautiful mature gardens. It was previously part of the Irish government owned Great Southern chain and is now run by a privately owned boutique hotel chain. 32 kms to the nearest airport (kerry) Close to the station (killarney) 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop 25 km to the nearest beach

Built in 1854 and renovated in 2008, this hotel comprises a total of 180 bedrooms spread over 4 floors. The main building comprises a lobby area with a fireplace, a reception desk and hairdresser. Guests may choose to enjoy a drink in the bar or dine in one of the 2 restaurants. A total of 3 conference rooms are available for use. This traditional hotel is designed in a Victorian style. There is complimentary car parking for guests and WIFI in the public areas.

Rooms
The bedrooms are either medium or large in size, with full facilities including internet access, trouser press, hair dryer and en-suite bathroom. They are in good condition and the decor is luxurious and each room a light and airy feel.

Restaurant & Food
Continental and full breakfast is provided buffet style in the Garden Room Restaurant. Table d'hote and la carte menus are available for dinner. The bar also provides a variety of food options.

Activities & Sport
Guests will find an indoor swimming pool on offer within the hotel. In addition, there is a health spa with a sauna, a Jacuzzi and massage services (additional fees apply) in the hotel as well as further spa treatments.
