Without doubt, the Europe is one of the most luxurious 5 star Hotels in Ireland. Winner of Best Overall hotel 2010 in Hospitality Ireland awards, this is testament to its prowess. It incorporates ESPA - one of Ireland's largest spa hotels in Ireland - and captures the imagination of visitors to the hotel with one of the finest views of Ireland from any of the Lounges or rooms you are in. Exterior: A large, modern building with immense windows, and balconies.
Lobby: The lobby is large with various beautifully furnished lounges leading along the length of building, all allowing spectacular views of the lake and mountains ahead.

These are the Golfside View rooms: All are large, extremely well equipped and of a very high standard. The decor is very individual with pine furniture and pale floral prints, and many have balconies overlooking the lake and mountains. These are more traditional in design than Lakeview but are being fully modernised in time for 2012 Summer opening. They include satellite television, fully stocked mini bar, soft bathrobes and slippers, direct dial telephone and safe.

The Europe offers a number of flexible options for dining with a choice of restaurants. The Spa Cafe, is open daily serving lunch, brunch and healthy snacks in a light and airy dining room which enjoys sweeping views over the lake and mountains beyond. The Brasserie Restaurant - with terrace for relaxed al fresco dining - serves light snacks to succulent flamed grills steaks cooked in front of you by award winning chefs on an open grill. The Panorama Restaurant has one of the most enviable views in Ireland with vistas of the Lakes of Killarney, mountains and gardens and is open for breakfast and dinner (closed for dinner on Sunday) providing fine dining in Kerry at its best.

There is an indoor swimming pool and a sun terrace in the grounds on offer to guests. Leisure options include a health spa with a sauna and (for an additional fee) further spa offers at the beauty salon. Sports options include a tennis hall with two tennis courts, a gym and the option of horse riding with Haflingers. An 18-hole golf course is situated next to the hotel.
