Exterior: Despite its grand reputation, the exterior of this hotel is surprisingly restrained with its dark grey facade and small unassuming entrance.
Lobby: The lobby is cosy and homely with a polished granite tiled floor and warm red wool carpets.

Rooms
All rooms are spacious and have been designed with comfort as their principle concept. Original art, from the largest private collection in Iceland, adorns all walls. Each room includes a minibar, satellite television, a hairdryer, telephone and safe. In addition, wireless Internet access is available in each room for use at no extra cost to guests. All rooms are en suite with a shower and bath; a double or king-size bed features as standard. A radio and ironing set are provided for guests' convenience.
