This legendary resort and spa, renovated in 2009, comprises a
series of intimate terraced buildings with a total of 267 rooms,
including superior and deluxe rooms and suites, several with
private pools. The resort spreads along 44 hectares of cypress
trees, eucalyptus trees and pine woods, cascading along the
breathtaking cliffs and offering spectacular views, dipping
dramatically into the sparkling blue-turquoise Ionian Sea. The
resort's location offers some of the best diving in Corfu, while
its spa offers a journey into serenity. The air-conditioned
establishment welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and
check-out services and offers a hotel safe, currency exchange
facilities, a cloakroom, lift access, a hairdressing salon,
TV/video lounge and games room. Dining and drinks are provided in
the café, bar and restaurant. Business guests are sure
to appreciate the conference facilities and can keep in touch with
the WLAN Internet access (for a fee). Room and laundry services, a
car park and bicycle hire are additionally provided.
Rooms
All accommodation units are en suite and equipped with a shower,
hairdryer, double bed, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV
and Internet access. Furthermore, all rooms have a safe, minibar,
tea and coffee making facilities and a balcony or terrace. The air
conditioning and heating are individually regulated.
Restaurant & Food
Buffets are served at breakfast, lunch and dinner, whilst
à la carte options are alternatively offered during
afternoon and evening meal times.
Activities & Sport
For leisure and entertainment the resort offers an outdoor infinity
edge swimming pool, sun bathing decks and terraces with sun
loungers and parasols laid out for use, as well as a sandy beach
(also with sun loungers and parasols). There are also 3 flood-lit
tennis courts as well as a spa centre with indoor heated swimming
pool and massage and spa treatments. Refreshments are served at the
poolside snack bar. Guests may also make use of the solarium,
aerobics classes, the gym, hot tub, sauna, steam room, table tennis
and golf facilities. Entertainment programmes are offered for
adults.
Directions, How to get
there
To reach the resort, exit the airport and follow signs for the
national Pelekas Avenue, heading for the west coast. Follow signs
for Pelekas and drive on to Ermones, reaching first the Corfu Golf
and Country Club. The resort is 400 m further on the north end of
the mountain, high above the beach.
