Built in 2009, the air-conditioned hotel distinguishes itself
through its modern design and comfortable interior and offers 201
guest rooms and suites on 10 floors, which all comply with the most
demanding standards. On the 7th to 10th floors, the hotel offers
the Melia Premium Rooms and Junior Suites which fulfil the
exclusive criteria for high standard rooms and suites. The hotel
offers a convention and business centre with 1,200 square metres
divided into 8 differently sized conference rooms and an exhibition
area. All function rooms are equipped with the latest
state-of-the-art facilities. Further facilities include a lobby
with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe,
currency exchange facilities, lift access, a children's playground
and a cafe, bar and restaurant. For an additional fee, guests may
also take advantage of the WLAN Internet access, room and laundry
services and a garage.
Rooms
The main attributes of a guest room at the hotel combine undivided
living simplicity and modern interior-design standards within a
room capacity. This is the formula for a pleasant hotel stay. Each
room is equipped with a 25-inch TV with 39 channels, wireless
Internet access (additional charge), individually regulated air
conditioning and heating, a fully equipped minibar (additional
charge), safe, 3 telephones (one in the bathroom) and a desk next
to the window. Each room additionally features an en suite bathroom
with a bathtub, shower, hairdryer and a magnifying mirror, a double
or king-size bed, a radio and an ironing set.
Restaurant & Food
Hotel guests can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet and
Mediterranean Italian cuisine at the Aqua restaurant. Buffet and
à la carte options are available for lunch and dinner.
Cocktails and finger food are offered during the evening in the
Purple Lounge, which is also directly accessible from outdoors.
Activities & Sport
After a busy day, the hotel provides its guests with a perfect
place to recover: The YHI Spa. Entering this exclusive oasis of
silence, guests experience a choice of excellent facilities,
including a fully equipped gym, treatment rooms with massages and
spa treatments (fees apply to both) as well as a spacious sauna
area with two 2 dry saunas, a steam room and a relaxing area. For
an additional fee, guests may also play basketball, handball or
