Due to its location, the hotel has easy access to all parts of northern Germany and central Hamburg which is just 10 minutes away by car.
Exterior: The exterior of the hotel is quite pleasant, being a modern low-rise building and typical north German, red brick construction.
Lobby: The lobby area is large and open plan, with the reception desk facing the entrance. Large windows make for a light and airy atmosphere. There is a cream marble floor and pillars, and chalked oak timber walls. There is also plenty of comfortable seating.

All of the rooms are large and pleasantly decorated and many have a country house/Laura Ashley-style decor. There are large king sized beds in the single and double rooms, and queen sized beds in the twin rooms. They are very comfortable, with lots of natural light. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in exceptional condition.

Of the hotel's three restaurants, the cafe is the most informal. The brasserie is also quite informal and appropriately furnished. The à la carte restaurant has a more formal and elegant style.

There is a sauna on offer to guests.

By car: Take the A1/E22 to the Hamburg-Stillhorn exit. Drive along Stillhorner Weg in the direction of Hamburg-Stillhorn. Drive for another 500 m to reach the hotel. Public transport: from Hamburg central railway station take the S-Bahn (city train) 31 in the direction of Harburg Rathaus to the Wilhelmsburg stop. Alight there and take bus line 351 in the direction of Moorwerder Kinderheim. Get off at the Schützenhof stop. From there, the hotel is a 3-minute walk away. The total journey time is around 20 min.
