This luxury hotel is centrally located beside the River Oos in the spa town of Baden-Baden. The spa with its famous casino in the spa park, the curative drinking hall and the theatre lie just across from the hotel. The train station is 7 km away, the motorway 8 km, it is some 15 km to Baden-Baden airport and Strßburg is approximately 60 km from the hotel. This city offers a diverse selection of activities and sights including the Baden-Baden Philharmonic orchestra, the theatre, the vernissages, cultural and media events as well as exhibitions (in the national art gallery for example). Public transport links, shopping venues, bars, pubs and nightclubs are to be found close by and the nearest ski lift and cross-country ski trail is 16 km away. There is a lake just a short distance from the hotel.

Built in 1830, this luxury hotel comprises a total of 123 rooms of which 40 are single rooms, 81 are double rooms and 2 are suites. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange counter, a cloakroom, a lift, a café and a hairdresser's salon. There is also a bar, a casino, a TV room and an excellent air-conditioned à la carte restaurant available for use within the hotel. The main restaurant is opulently furnished, with chandeliers adding the final touch of grandeur. There are excellent views of the spa park from the panoramic windows, which run the length of the room. Of more interest perhaps is the area where the breakfast is served. This is in the oldest part of the hotel, which was once a monastery.

In the outdoor complex is an indoor swimming pool as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use and a 400 m² spa complex with a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a tepidarium, a brine pool, an experience shower, a fitness area and a refreshments bar. There is a beauty centre offering Bionouvelle full-body, beauty and health treatments to provide all of the classic and energy reflex zone and body treatments (with herbs and aromatic oils for the face and body) as well as baths (herb, aromatic and rose baths) to soothe the soul. There is a gym area and, on request, 'active packages' with Nordic Walking or high rope courses are available. There is a 9-hole course some 2 km from the hotel and the nearest 18-hole course is 9 km away.
