This hotel is situated directly opposite the entrance to the train station. It is built in a european style typical of the turn of the century. The reception desk is small but there is a seating area opposite where individuals and small groups can relax. The hotel underwent a complete renovation programme in 1989/90so all rooms have been refurbished to a high standard. There are three restaurants in the hotel. The "zirbelstube" offers French cuisine while the "tirolerstube" and the "weinkost" restaurant both serve regional specialities. The latter two have retained a feeling of a sense of the past following the renovation programme, as the stone floors, old windows and furniture have been preserved.

The rooms are classical in style and newly renovated with traditional design.

There are three excellent restaurants - the Zwirbelstube , the Tiroler Stube and the Bar. All serve international and local cuisine.
