Set in a stunning neoclassical palace, the hotel occupies the former home of Don José Ricardo O' Farrill, descendant of one of the most powerful and richest families of the colonial period, and is centrally located. It was renovated in 2002 and comprises a total of 38 rooms, including three junior suites and one disability-friendly room, spread across three floors. Further facilities include a café, an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with highchairs available for children, a bar, and an inner courtyard with an ancient well and a stunning skylight. The terrace offers a great visual perspective over the rooftops of the city, and contributes to the unique nature of the hotel. Two of the standard room feature marital beds, while 33 come with double beds, 16 of which can be used as triples. Centrally regulated air conditioning and either a balcony or terrace are also provided in all accommodation units as standard.

Guests may serve themselves at the breakfast buffet. At lunchtime and in the evenings, guests may select dishes from an à la carte menu and at lunch a set menu is additionally available. Guests may book either a half board stay or bed and breakfast.
