The hotel was originally the residence of Lijiang's Yuan Era ruler, Tusi Mu, and is situated in the historical South Gate Square.

This charming city beach hotel is built in the traditional Naxi architectural style and comprises a total of 155 rooms. Complete with small courtyards, gates, a garden and waterside pavilions, the peaceful surroundings resemble a traditional Chinese landscape painting. The winding corridors and unique flora contribute to the atmosphere of quiet contemplation. The hotel has a lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a cloakroom. Guests may relax in the café or bar. There is also a multi-functional hall that can accommodate up to 150 people, while the small meeting room offers space for 30 people. Each is equipped with a projector, paper, a white board and white board markers. There are also 2 small meeting rooms, both of which can accommodate 10 people. Moreover, Internet access, room service, laundry service, car park and bicycle hire are also available.

Rooms
Each of the rooms comes with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer as well as a double bed, a minibar/fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. They are also equipped with broadband Internet access, satellite/cable TV, a domestic and international direct dial telephone, air conditioning and an in-room safe. Restaurant & Food
The hotel provides both Chinese and western restaurant service for guests. The Prince Restaurant (Taizi Jiulou) serves Lijiang dishes, a Wangfu banquet and a Mufu banquet. It covers an area of 240 m² and a breakfast buffet, a set menu lunch and dinner and dinner à la carte are offered.
