The hotel is situated directly by Rockley sandy beach on the south coast of Barbados, only around 10 minutes from the city centre of Bridgetown and a 20-minute drive from the international airport.

The main building is almost 200 years old, and is beautifully complemented by the Plantation House, an ultra modern extension built in typically tropical architecture. Both buildings together hold 92 of the most luxurious rooms on the south coast. Further facilities include a lobby, a 24-hour reception, a safe, lift access, 4 bars, 3 restaurants and an entertainment center. Parking facilities are offered to those arriving by car or renting one during their stay.

Rooms
Guests have the choice of a Superior Room in the Plantation House, a Deluxe Coutyard suite, or a Premium one Bedroom Suite. The rooms all come with en suite bathroom facilities with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, I Pod docking station and internet radio. There is also a mini-fridge, a double or king-size bed, as well as air conditioning, ceiling fan, a safe. The Deluxe Courtyard Suite and Premium one Bedroom Suites are also furnished with a patio or balcony.
