Makepeace is privately and exclusively yours to explore. Its 25 acres contain enough to keep the most active entertained; however its seclusion does not mean isolation. Noosa's famous beaches, restaurants, surf school and fishing grounds are just a few minutes up-stream by boat. And the Great Barrier Reef is less than an hour away by charter flight, which can be arranged from the local Noosa airport. Makepeace Island has been sensitively developed over a number of years. All of the buildings were designed and constructed in Bali. They were then dismantled and shipped to Australia to be reassembled on the island.
