The resort is located adjacent to the magnificent 'Queenslander' clubhouse. It is nestled between The Great Barrier Reef and tropical rainforest clad mountains. Palm Cove is a 5-minute drive from the hotel. Cairns can be reached in 20 minutes by car and Cairns Airport is 50 km away.

The resort is continually ranked among the best and most challenging of Australia's championship resort golf courses. The hotel itself is scheduled to open in 2009 and will offer 96 rooms in total. It is air-conditioned and offers a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, hotel safe, currency exchange facility, laundry service, lift access, a kiosk and a hairdressing salon. Furthermore there is a bar, restaurant, games room and conference facilities available. There is a car park for guests arriving by car and there is a playground for younger guests.

Rooms
Spacious and comfortable, the resort rooms and apartments feature balconies, individually regulated air conditioning and ceiling fans. Furthermore, cable TV, pay per view movies, radio, an in-room safe, hairdryer, direct dial telephones and a minibar all come as standard. The apartments are fully self-contained with kitchen with fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board and laundry facilities. The rooms feature king-size beds.

Restaurant & Food
59 restaurant and bar is open for breakfast lunch and dinner, and guests can enjoy a welcoming range of cuisine at great value prices. Guests may also sit on a large timber deck with views of the ocean, mountains and perfectly manicured gardens.

Activities & Sport
The resort is famous for its golf course and guests can get coaching assistance from the director of golf. There is also a well stocked Golf Pro Shop, three Supergrass tennis courts, a 25-metre pool for laps or relaxation, two beach volleyball courts and a poolside snack bar and barbecue area at the hotel. Massage and other spa treatments are available and there is gym for guests to work out in.
