This hotel offers a personalised and quality service. Contemporary and with a tropical ambience, befitting a bygone era - an era when great service and friendly hospitality were the rule rather the exception. It features 176 rooms in total. There are four room types available. It features 40 Standard guest rooms located on the 4th and 5th floors, 60 Superior rooms on the 6th, 7th and 8th floors, 60 Executive rooms which are located on the 9th, 10th and 11th floor. There are 16 Deluxe rooms which are the hotel's largest accommodation types located on the front two corners of each level giving views over the harbour and parklands. The hotel has a lobby with tour desk and currency exchange facility, as well as a restaurant and conference facilities. Guests may also make use of the room and laundry services. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car.

Rooms

All rooms are spacious and refurbished in 2010. All have private balconies with superb views over looking the harbour, the mountains and parklands. The majority of the rooms can be configured to either twin or double rooms upon request. En suite bathroom, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, TV / pay per view movies, tea/coffee making facilities,broadband internet access as well as an iron set all come as standard. Individually-adjustable air conditioning also features.

Restaurant & Food

The hotel also boasts one of the finest restaurants in Cairns, the Bushfire Flame Grill. Here guests enjoy a Brazilian-inspired, Australian-style barbecue. Metre long skewers of succulent Australian beef, pork, lamb and chicken are seasoned, marinated and gently roasted on the churrasco grill. Waiters slice sizzling hot roasted meats from the skewers directly to guests' plates. The restaurant also offers an a la carte menu.
