MesaStila (previously known as Losari Spa Retreat and Coffee Plantation) offers an accommodation to escape from the demanding daily grind. We believe that whatever form it takes, to care for your wellbeing now means a more vibrant life, greater energy and an all round better you. The essence of the retreat is defined through the calming and powerful environment in which MesaStila (previously known as Losari Spa Retreat and Coffee Plantation) sits - encircled by eight magnificent volcanoes and set within fifty-five acres of gardens, plantation and tropical jungle. MesaStila offers a distinct Javanese flavor in activities and programs that include local Javanese dining; focused exercise; planned relaxation; stress management; cultural and educational programs; limitations on smoking; moderation in alcohol consumption and a variety activities and attractions in Central Java.

MesaStila has twenty-three villas that are individually decorated and built on the top of the hill in the middle of the coffee plantation. Villa size ranges from 80sqm to 135sqm and are unique with modern facilities, large living area and outdoor veranda offering breathtaking views overlooking the coffee plantation or mountains. The villas are ideal for a tranquil honeymoon escape or a family vacation in Java. Each room has been reconstructed from an original Javanese antique Limasan, Joglo or Kudus wooden house and is decorated with original antiques art collections. All rooms are equipped with coffee and tea maker, safety box, healthy corner, slippers, bathrobes, custom made amenities.

Using traditional flavors, combined with a wide range of locally grown, organic and sustainable derived produce. In addition, a sense of the real Java was inspired by the whole kitchen team as they were encouraged to find recipes that were famous in their local village; the recipes were adapted to retain their character and flavour. Dishes incorporate wholesome-healthy cooking techniques, such as steamed scrambled-eggs, baked snapper, and Indonesian prawn crackers (kurupuk udang) cooked in heated volcanic sand! This cuisine expertise that has been developed under the Corporate Executive Chef for Mesa Hotels & Resorts, Darren Lauder - an award-winning chef.

MesaStila Resort is an ideal way to experience borobudur temple, trekking through the Coffee Plantation, submerge into a yoga experience, enjoy family activities, or spend romantic moments together. MesaStila is proud to house South East Asia’s only authentic Hammam Spa, where steam bathing combines functionality with decadent cleansing rituals. MesaStila also offers fitness-focused classes each day throughout the day in addition to the complete gym overlooking the jungles of Java. Most of the classes are supervised by a Master Trainer.
