One of the most prestigious hotels in Germany and highly recommended.
Exterior: This is a grand, white, five storey building. The facade is an architectural treat with beautifully restored cornicing and carved stonework.
Lobby: The medium sized lobby and extensive public lounges adjoining it are furnished with antique furniture and large thick carpets. The lobby was renovated in 1999 and staircases are now leading up to the first floor to several seating areas which is ideal to enjoy afternoon tea or simply a cup of coffee in an elegant surrounding. On the whole it is very traditional in style and beautifully maintained.
This elegant luxury hotel is situated directly by the promenade and has been run by the same family for a number of generations. Here, tradition fuses with contemporary comforts. The inviting combination of history and modernity marks the style of the hotel. Close to the hotel, guests will find the Church of the Lady, Marienplatz station, the Stachus, the opera, museums and 3 art museums. Links to the public transport network lie about 500 m away.
