Swallow Killin

The typical highland-style country house features a garden with a terrace and comprises a total of 32 rooms. In addition to a lobby area and a lift, this establishment offers a bar and a bistro with a beautiful view of the river Lochay which presents an excellent opportunity for relaxation.

Most of the rooms offer panoramic views of the highlands and the river which winds its way along beside the hotel. In addition to a fully equipped bathroom with a hairdryer, the accommodation includes a double bed, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, an ironing set and a welcome tray. Central heating is also provided as standard.

In all areas of cuisine the chefs here prove themselves to have flair and imagination. They use high quality regional produce to create the most excellent dishes. Guests may choose whether they prefer to dine in the more formal atmosphere of the bistro or in the relaxed atmosphere of the bar. Breakfast is on offer to guests each morning; lunch and the evening meal can be taken à la carte.

The surroundings offer plentiful opportunities for activities such as mountaineering, fishing, mountain biking or wild water rafting.

From Edinburgh take the M8 towards Stirling and leave at exit 10, following the A85 in the direction of Crieff. The exit to Killin lies on the right hand side and is well signposted.
