Grand Hotel Plaza

The hotel was built in 1860 and consists of a total of 206 rooms on 6 floors of which 63 are singles, 102 are doubles and 7 are suites. The hotel's facilities include an imposing lobby filled with stunning antiques, a 24-hour reception, a safe and conference rooms. The sophisticated café has a lovely terrace and breakfast is served in the air-conditioned restaurant. Room and laundry services are available for guests. The opulent salon with its painted glass ceiling has been the setting for many Hollywood film scenes, Papal visits and Royal receptions.

The impeccable, spacious rooms are fitted with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone and satellite/ cable TV. They are also equipped with a minibar, a fridge, air conditioning, central heating as well as a safe. The rooms' simple charm provides a contrast to the impressive lobby. The restaurant is similar in style to the rest of the public areas. The bar is also very grand and atmospheric.

The Town Hall of Rome with the deliberation n.67 on the 28/29 July 2010 has decided to introduce the tourist tax which starts from 01.01.11 with the following costs: 3 ¿ per person per day for 4* and 5* stars hotels; 2 ¿ per person per day for all remaining hotel categories. Clients have to pay the tourist tax in cash directly at the hotel.
