This hotel forms part of the Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort, Convention Centre, Golf Course & Casino resort that comprises 5 separately managed units. The Barceló Express train regularly travels through the complex, providing a link between the various hotels and most important facilities. The holiday complex comprises a total of 600 rooms housed within many 2 to 4 storey housing units that lie amidst wonderfully kept, tropical gardens. In the central area is an open foyer with a 24-hour reception area, a lobby bar, a safe and a currency exchange bureau. There are also various boutiques, a bank, a jeweller's shop, a supermarket, a beauty and hair salon, a chemist, several handcraft shops and a casino within the complex. Dining options include a buffet restaurant, an air-conditioned à la carte Mexican restaurant, a steakhouse, a Spanish gourmet restaurant as well as 3 different bars. There are also 2 nightclubs open to guests as well as medical assistance, a bicycle hire service (for an additional fee) as well as room and laundry services.
